Springish-Summerish 2009

So basically I suck! It has been a long time since I have posted anything and because of that, I have a lot to cover. However, as I was looking through all my photos, I have realized that I have not been taking pictures like I somehow thought I had been. So in all reality, lots of time has passed, lots of things have happened, but I am going to make this a somewhat short post.

Logan has started full blown walking..i mean, no more crawling, and almost running! When his dad gets home he bee lines for the door. It is a race between he and McKinlee who will get there first, and he gives a pretty good effort. He has become a total Daddy's Boy. In the morning when he wakes up all you hear is "Dad! Dad! Dad!". It is so funny! and I know that this does NOT hurt Jared's feelings at all! Logan is still a joy to be around and the happiest kid ever. I love watching him learn and grow and develope his own sweet personality.

McKinlee....She is still our little princess! However, this little princess talks, a lot! School has been great for her and it has helped her develope her speaking skills...a bit of a catch 22....she really doesn't stop! I will drive the kids to Pocatello (2 hr drive) and there will not be a moment of silence. Whether she is talking to me, Logan, or herself she doesn't stop. We do love it and find new things to laugh at everyday! She has decided that she is going to marry the neighbor boy, Luke, and he is going to kiss her. HMMMMM...not so sure about this at age 3, but still, it made me laugh. She is a big help to both myself and Jared, and has enjoyed Logan being able to be more mobile to play with. She loves to sing (something that I take great Pride in!) and she knows all the word to "I love to see the Temple". I really do need to get it on camera because it is so darn cute!!

Jared and I are doing fantabulous...super busy as usual, but no complaints! My work schedule is changing at the beginning of July so I will be able to have evenings with my family. We CANNOT wait! It has been quite the 6 months without having good family time! We are preparing to go with our ward to Martin's Cove next weekend...I am trying to get more excited, and I am, and Jared is super duper excited! We are taking McKinlee, which will be awesom, but have decided to leave Logan with my parents. Tomorrow I am going to go make skirts and bonnetts for McKinlee and myself....no promises on how they will look!! Jared and I are going to Hawaii at the end of August (woot woot!) to celebrate our 5 year anniversary....needless to say, we are super excited!!

Ok, enough rambling on and on, here are some snidbits of what we have been doing (really, there aren't very many pictures because like i said before, I suck!)

We finally got all 3 boys together (both my sisters had boys within months of Logan). I truly believe they will grow up being great friends. Sonia finally moved closer to home and lives in Idaho Falls, and Gretchen is moving to Twin Falls in 2 weeks! YEA !!! We are so happy to have them close! So from Left to right (except for the 1st picture, logan and colin are switched)...Korban (born August 2008, Sonia's baby), Colin (born June 2008, Gretchen) and Logan (born April 2008, mine...)

We took my parents one weekend in April to Yellowstone...so much fun! So here we are at the Bear and Wolf exhibit in West.

Memorial Day we went to Stanley to see Jared's parents...the weather was beautiful and we had a great time! But before we went we stopped in Pocatello to put flowers on Jared's grandparent's grave...this is our little McKinlee helping with the flowers!

Today, Jared and McKinlee were able to go mow the lawn...i couldn't resist getting a photo of her helping push the mower...so dang cute!
